"The Silent Game", composition of nails and washers; last stage of example play.

The game is played by two players. One party arranges a few objects on a board( in the example these objects are nails and washers ) and the other party must continue the arrangement by adding and must try to be true to the patterns implied by what the first player did. The players are not allowed to talk. The game makes players aware of the way we pick up thematic aspects in the forms we see. It teaches the player to be open to what is done by others. It triggers a discussion afterwards about the images and visions we implicitly share when designing.
